Man Charged with Assaulting Employee

Victim injured in Dec. 19 altercation at Glen Cove body shop.

A 33-year-old man is facing charges of second-degree assault after a dispute at an auto body shop turned violent, sending an employee away in an ambulance.

The incident occurred Dec. 19 at 12:30 p.m. at T & D Auto Body in Glen Cove, according to the Glen Cove Police Department.

Police did not provide the identity of either man.

The employee was taken to North Shore University Hospital suffering from a laceration to his forehead and pain in his arm and shoulder.
