A 44-year-old man is listed in critical condition after sustaining serious burns to his body when his hand touched a high-voltage power line as he attempted to trim a tree at a Glen Head residence Monday.
The Glenwood Fire Department responded to the call just after 4 p.m. and removed the worker from the tree. He was airlifted to the hospital by the Police Aviation Unit.
The incident happened at a home on Plymouth Drive South.
The victim's status had not changed by Tuesday morning, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
