A man was arrested Tuesday for having a loaded handgun under his seat in a car police stopped on Pratt Boulevard at Pulaski Street at around 12:30 p.m., according to the .
Nasean Barnes, 26, of Glen Cove was riding in the passenger seat when police pulled the car over in connection with an incident that occurred earlier in the day in the Landing neighborhood. A handgun had been pulled out during an argument between two men, police said.
Police found a loaded .357 Dan Wesson revolver during a search of the vehicle.
Barnes was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a firearm and menacing.
