accident waiting to happen!!! Cars are coming off glen cove road at 55mph if not faster and most at a total disregard to speed reduction signs. I seen many go right thru the red light at the corner of 4th street and glen street.

Well yeah, but it is unbelievable how often I narrowly avoided pedestrians, after dark, dressed in dark clothes, randomly crossing that road totally ignoring crossing lanes or lights, sometimes pushing baby strollers, and many times talking on cell phones. Blatant disregard for traffic rules.

You can't see people at night crossing the road. Pedestrians think the drivers can see them like it is day time. There is a need to educate pedestrians on this even though it is common sense which many are lacking.

Too many people walk along the sides of the roads at night, They cross from one side to the other in the middle of the road and not at the corners or crosswalks. They wear dark clothes and are difficult to see. DO THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND tthey should follow some rules for their OWN safety?? Drivers have many things to watch while driving and it would be safer for everyone if the pedestrians were more careful.
