Police: Man Tried to Lure Girl into Truck on School Street
Glen Cove Police seek public's help finding man involved in Monday incident.
The Glen Cove Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance finding a man who reportedly attempted to lure a girl into his truck on Monday.
An unknown white male in his 60s tried to lure a 15 year old girl into his vehicle while she was walking home from school along School Street at 5:30 p.m., say police.
The girl told him that she didn’t need a ride but he continued to follow her. The man's truck was caught on the City's recently installed surveillance cameras. It is a white Nissan Frontier pickup with a white cap covering the back bed, as pictured above. The truck also has an aftermarket sun visor over its front window with side running boards.
