Sea Cliff Ambulance Fund Receives Grant

The Sea Cliff Ambulance Fund recently received a $1,00 grant from New York American Water, which has offices in Lynbrook. 

The money will be used towards the use of purchasing emergency equipment.

“We are extremely proud to support the Sea Cliff community and the Sea Cliff Ambulance Fund,” said Brian Bruce, New York American Water vice president of operations.

“We are committed to being good neighbors as well as valuable members in the community, where our own employees live and work every day to provide the best service possible to our consumers,” he added.

New York American Water has donated thousands of dollars through its charitable arm, the American Water Charitable Foundation, to various local Nassau County emergency service-based programs in the last six months.

A separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization,  the foundation offers funding for various community and nonprofit organizations in the water provider’s service areas. No customer funds are part of the American Water Charitable Foundation endowment, according to the organization.
