A 13-year-old was hit by a car on Glen Cove Avenue near the Tuesday.
Police say the boy, who was on a skateboard at the time, "darted" into oncoming traffic and was struck around 5:24 p.m.
One witness said she observed a woman administering CPR to the unidentified person seconds before the police arrived.
"His injuries do not appear to be serious," said Lt. Thomas Fitzpatrick. The victim was taken to by EMS.
He is reportedly conscious, however his current condition remains unknown.
No arrests were made; no tickets or summonses have been issued.
