Throwback Cars Hit City Streets
Glen Cove's weekly Cruise Car Night returns for another season.
What seemed like an ordinary Thursday evening on School and Glen streets in Glen Cove quickly morphed into a scene you would see at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Collectible cars could easily be spotted all over the city's downtown area as the Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department hosted its first Cruise Car Night of the season.
The event, which is slated to take place every Thursday until Sept. 30, featured muscle and classic cars on display as well as musical entertainment. It was sponsored by the Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District.
