Just in case you missed Patch's coverage this week, here is a recap of some of the latest news in Glen Cove.

Mother Nature brought a little more than two days of soaking rains and heavy winds to the city earlier this week, giving kids in the area a soggy start to their Spring Break. Weather authorities said the city was hit with more than four inches of rain, which caused flooding on many city streets on Monday and Tuesday. The wet weather also caused a mudslide at home on Allen Street on Thursday.

Patch also caught up with the parties involved with the city's RXR Glen Isle Waterfront Revitalization Project to find out the venture's status. Representatives said they are currently completing the requirements for the State Environmental Quality Review.
