A 74-year-old woman was hospitalized Wednesday after she was struck by a truck on Rt. 107 following a rush-hour car accident, Old Brookville Police confirmed.
The accident occurred just north of Northern Blvd. at around 5:10 p.m., police said.
The woman got out of her vehicle after she was rear-ended. She was then hit by a passing truck.
A Nassau County Police helicopter transported her to the hospital.
Police said there is no criminality suspected.
