Massage Parlor Bust: Two women working in a Glen Cove massage parlor were charged with in June. Carmen Orozco, 46, of Queens and Rosa Perez, 74, of Manhattan were arrested in the rear of the 70 Forest Avenue establishment, police said.

Hunt for North Lane Robbers: A led to an intense hunt in October. Two people wearing ski masks underneath oversized hoods entered, bound and robbed three North Lane residents, according to police.

Over $250K in Cars Stolen: A Glen Cove garage owner was in June. Joseph Simeone, 71, of Torrington, Conn. – owner of Simeone Classic Cars in Glen Cove – allegedly stole three 1930's-era cars from a customer, sold them and kept the profits, said Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice.

High-Speed Chase: Two Glen Cove residents were charged in a in November. The driver, Jason Denobrega, 23, and passenger, Jacob Bloom, 21, were arrested after the high-speed pursuit and a subsequent accident.

Bayville Man Guilty of Drug-Fueled Crash: A Bayville man was convicted in June of while driving high on drugs and causing a crash in December 2009 that left a Port Washington resident with a permanent traumatic brain injury. 

Identity Theft: A Glen Cove man was charged with using in May. Randell Guerrier, 23, of Avalon Square was charged with six counts of larceny, three counts of possessing stolen property, three counts of forgery and three counts of identity theft, said Lt. Tom Fitzpatrick of the .

Pumpkin Patch Vandalism: The United Methodist Church of Sea Cliff was in October. Nassau County Police said they observed a knocked-down portable light, two damaged light fixtures and another two above the church door. An estimated $960 in pumpkins were lost, according to a fundraiser organizer.

Weapons Charges: A Glen Cove man was after police say they found illegal weapons and ammunition in his . Frederick Ruffen, a 63-year-old audiologist, was charged with possessing two assault rifles, six unlicensed pistols and a 50-round magazine. He is also charged with a misdemeanor for having a firearm under legal length.

Arson: A Glen Cove man was arrested in June after and threw a brick through the window of a parked vehicle outside the residence. Moses Rios, 25, of 12A Janet Ave. was charged with second degree arson and third degree criminal mischief after an ongoing neighborhood dispute turned violent, Nassau police said.
