City of Glen Cove to Purchase Property for New Water Well

The property is to cost $1 million.

The City of Glen Cove is to purchase property on Raynham Road for a public water well, Newsday has reported.  

Located at 13 Raynam Road in Glen Cove, the 2.1-acre property, to cost $1 million is in close proximity to a pumping station on Duck Pond Road, according to Newsday.  

The purchase was approved by the Glen Cove City Council on May 28. No word yet on the cost of the water-well drilling.
