Community Garden Takes Root in Glen Cove

Attention, all gardeners.  A meeting will be held on Monday, April 7 from 6-7pm in Glen Cove City Hall, in the second floor conference room, to discuss the development of a community garden in Glen Cove.

A community garden is a shared space where the garden’s members can grow vegetables, fruits and flowers in their own section, establishing a connection to the environment and enhancing quality of life.

The purpose of the meeting is to identify interest from the community and to help with a variety of start-up tasks – formalizing the organization, preparing the site, communications, and so on. Any questions can be directed to glencovecommunitygarden@yahoo.com
