Congressman Endorses Germino at Fundraiser

Congressman Peter King endorsed Robert Germino, candidate for the New York State Assembly District 13 seat during Tuesday night's campaign fundraiser at Page One Restaurant Cabaret in Glen Cove.

According to King, Germino is an ideal candidate.

"A lot of people have lost faith in government, and Rob is the type of person we need," said King. "He's got the guts to put his life on the line and fight for his country; he's got integrity; he's smart and has no agenda."

Glen Cove resident and Iraq war veteran Germino is running against the incumbent state Assemblyman Charles Lavine—also a city resident—in the upcoming November election.

The 13th A.D. encompasses Glen Cove, Sea Cliff, Glenwood Landing and Bayville, among other areas.

"It's going to be an interesting race," said Germino's campaign advisor Ed Marinello. "Rob is so fired up. We've got the right candidate and the right opponent."
