Glen Cove’s Annual STOP Program

Residents are urged to bring items such as aerosol cans, air conditioning refrigerants, antifreeze, automobile batteries, household batteries, brake and transmission fluids, bug and rodent killers,  enamel, lead and oil based paints (Water or latex based paints are no longer accepted)) paint thinner, automobile tires, oven cleaner, polish and wood preservatives, unused flammable liquids, waste oil, insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers, rug and upholstery cleaners, pool chemicals and empty barbecue propane tanks to the Morris Avenue site for proper disposal.
