Free Child Car Seat Safety Checks Available
County Legislator Diane Yatauro encourages residents to schedule an appointment for service.
Nassau County Legislator Diane Yatauro invites everyone who transports a child using a car seat or booster seat to join her for a free child car seat safety check.
Yatauro has arranged for Chris Mistron, a child car seat installation specialist in the Nassau County Traffic Safety Bureau, to ensure that your seat is properly installed. Remember, this 15 minute inspection could save a life.
The safety checks will be on May 13 at the Harbor Child Care Center parking lot, 700 Glen Cove Avenue, in Glen Head from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Please call Yatauro's office at 571-6218 to schedule an appointment. The appointments run every 15 minutes.
