Glen Cove City Council Agenda

Council to vote Waterfront District zoning changes, $1.8 million in funds for ferry terminal construction.

  1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
  1. PUBLIC HEARING

To discuss Local Law 01-2013 to Amend the City of Glen Cove Zoning Ordinance to Establish Vested Rights in an Approved PUD Master Development Plan in the MW-3 Marine Waterfront-3 District (“MW-3 District”), and to Establish an Expiration Date for a PUD Site Plan Approval in the MW-3 District. The amendment would provide for the establishment of certain statutory vested rights given the practical timing, cost, phasing and other considerations involved in implementing an approved PUD Master Development Plan. The amendment would also establish an 18-month expiration date for a PUD Site Plan Approval in the MW-3 District as the Zoning Ordinance currently does not contain an expiration date specifically for PUD Site Plans.
