What a waste of money. Just because they build it what makes them think it will survive until maybe they develop the water front.

This is great for the community and it looks beautiful (nothing but the best for Nassau) but to get to this place is very scary. With all the traffic on Northern Blvd and you have to still travel north, well this ferry port be busy enough for this to work. Or are they spending money just to fix up this area. Maybe in the future when they add CT and other places, it would be more cost effective as to how many people would really use the ferry.

This is the ugliest building. Why can't we have a ferry terminal that looks like it belongs in a "seaport village" on the North Shore? How about a little saltbox with nice shingles and woodwork? That is the ugliest modern piece of crap.

Give it 18 months and it will be another abandoned building in GC. It is amazing how misguided the administration is and the public eats it up.
