Harsh winter pushes project back but no additional costs involved
Work on the will be delayed by about two months due to the harsh winter weather. They delay is also associated with environmental permits being reviewed by the DEC. That news came from a resolution authorized by at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
A City of Glen Cove official confirmed a report that the delay will not add to the cost of the first phase, which received $11 million in federal stimulus funding. .
