Hearing on Cleanup Set for March 3

State agencies to outline plan to rid site of contaminants.

A hearing on the City of Glen Cove's plan to clean up the Crown Dykman site is scheduled for March 3 at City Hall.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), in conjunction with the State Department of Health (DOH) are holding the meeting about the site, which is contaminated by dry-cleaning solvents and petroleum residue.

Representatives of the two agencies will explain the contents of the proposal to clean up the site at 66 Herb Hill Road, and take questions and comments from the public.
