MacKenzie Wins 18th Legislative District Race
Earns term with 57 percent of the vote.
Donald MacKenzie, R-Oyster Bay, won the race to represent the 18th Legislative District on Tuesday, taking 56.51 percent of the vote.
According to the Nassau County Board of Elections, MacKenzie tallied 5,684 votes while Democrat David Gugerty picked up 4,370 votes.
