Meet the School Board Candidates Tonight

The three candidates for the two open Glen Cove Board of Education seats will sit for a question and answer session at Finley Middle School Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.

Incumbent Grady Farnan, past president Richard Maccarone and last year's runner-up Eric Bailey will advocate for their candidacies and field questions about how they want to serve as the community's trustees on the Board for the next two years.

The election comes amid two investigations of allegations of testing improprieties involving the New York State Education Department and the Nassau County D.A. and last week's sudden resignation of Superintendent Joseph Laria.

The vote takes place Tuesday, May 21.
