NIFA Objects to County's Proposed State Borrowing

Should the county be allowed to go over its oversight authority's head?

If Albany approves the loan, NIFA said, it would undermine the effectiveness of the control board set up in January 2011 to oversee the county's budget - and undermine that of other boards like it throughout the state.
