Officials Celebrate Opening Day With Little Leaguers

Several local elected officials showed up at the Hicksville Baseball Association's annual opening day ceremonies at Abe Levitt Field in Hicksville last week to wish the young athletes a successful season.
On-hand were Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto, Councilman Anthony Macagnone, Councilman Joseph Pinto, Hicksville Baseball Association president Kim Torrellas, Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, district court judge Rhonda Fischer, Nassau County Legislator Rose Walker, NYS Senator Carl Marcellino and NYS Assemblyman Michael Montesano.
