Officials Cut Ribbon for New Goodwill Store

Goodwill Industries president honored at ceremony for Massapequa location.

Local government officials attended a ribbon-cutting recently for a new Goodwill store and donation center in Massapequa.

Oyster Bay Town Councilman Joseph Pinto, Nassau County Legislator Michael Venditto and Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell presented Bill Forrester, CEO and president of Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and New Jersey, a citation at the ceremony.

The new store is located at 814 Hicksville Rd. in Massapequa.

The organization helps more than 100,000 people each year find employment, according to its website

  • All waste removal permits expire Friday.
  • Saturday is Groundhog Day.

This is an excellent way to get rid of every pill/elixir or whatever that you no longer use. VeryRead More simple, drive in drop your stuff in the receptacle and leave. Great program and good job to those running it.
