Glen Cove residents Jimmy and Juliana Ayers and Joan Fusco recently planted trees in front of their home as part of the city's on-going tree-planting program which allows residents to be involved in the selection and maintenance of new or replacement trees along the street in front of their homes.
During the spring season, eight new street trees were planted in local residential neighborhoods. The plantings were coordinated by the Glen Cove Tree Commission and funded by the City of Glen Cove’s Tree Restoration Program.
