Public Meeting Thursday on Downtown Gateway to Waterfront
Phase II of the project will be discussed at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
The City of Glen Cove announced Thursday a presentation to the community of the draft Downtown Gateway to the Waterfront Phase II Implementation Plan in order to hear feedback from residents and stakeholders.
"The draft Implementation Plan will incorporate results from the comprehensive survey widely publicized during the fall of 2012 as well as stakeholder interviews, and make recommendations for activities and attraction of businesses that will complement both the Downtown as well as the Waterfront Redevelopment Area," said a statement from the City.
The meeting will take place Thursday in the main chambers of City Hall at 6:30 p.m.
The presentation will be available for viewing on the City's website at www.glencove-li.us. Click on “Projects and Studies.”

The project is being funded by the New York State Department of State, with funds provided under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection fund.
