Question: Do you support a $400 million Nassau Coliseum renovation?
In late May, County Executive Ed Mangano to determine the future of the Nassau Coliseum property.
If the referendum is passed by county voters, Nassau would look to borrow $400 million to build a new sports and entertainment complex on the current Coliseum property, which would include a new hockey arena and a minor league ballpark.
But even if voters approve the referendum, any borrowing must first be approved by the Nassau Interim Finance Authority, which is currently reviewing county finances.
