Spinello: Help Sustain VFW Post 347 Activities
Raffle tickets are available for purchase and benefit the post, officials say.
At the Glen Cove VFW on Hill Street, James Donohue Post 347 Commander Joe Lavery presented Mayor Reginald A. Spinello with one of only 300 raffle tickets available to benefit the Post’s annual fundraising effort.
The winning number will be drawn at Post headquarters after the Memorial Day Parade on May 26. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased by calling 676-9641.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will help the Post with its community activities and include a scholarship for graduating high school seniors.
