Elections are just around the corner and the race for County Executive is in full swing.

Both incumbent Ed Mangano and candidate Tom Suozzi are hitting the pavement and speaking with constituents to secure votes.

The most recent polls have put Mangano ahead 52 percent to Suozzi's 35, according to CBS.

Running for county legislator in District 11 are Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D) v. John DiMascio (R)

In the race for mayor in the City of Glen Cove, incumbent Ralph V. Suozzi, D, is being challenged by Reginald A. Spinello, r.

The City of Glen Cove also has six open council seats. In the running are Republicans Charles A. Bozzello, Jr., Linda A. Darby, Anthony Gallo, Jr., Kristina S. Heuser, Pamela. D. Panzenbeck Conservative Frank L. Famiglietti, Efraim Spagnoletti Democrats Antony P. Jimenez, Michael T. Famiglietti, Eve Lupenko, Nicholas A. Dileo, Martin F. Carmody, Timothy J. Tenke and Green Party candidate Jeffrey Peress. 

In the Oyster Bay town supervisor race, incumbant John Venditto, R,  is being challenged by John Capobianco, D. And on the town board: Republican incumbents Joseph Pinto, Chris Coschignano and Michelle Johnson are being challenged by Democrats Shaker Nelanuthala, Chris Briggs and. Kimberly Snow. In the town clerk race, incumbent James Altadonna Jr., R, is being challenged by Mili Makhijani, D.
