This Week in Glen Cove

Five things happening this week in Glen Cove.

  1. The Board of Education's business meeting will be held on Monday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. at Robert M. Finley Middle School.
  2. The city council meets Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.
  3. The school district's Academic Awards Night for the middle school's second quarter is Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. at Robert M. Finley Middle School.
  4. Mexican-American photojournalist and activist Ana Elisa Fuentes opens an exhibit of her work Thursday at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County. The exhibit features "women from around the world in a representation of multicultural, multigenerational, multi-class women of many faiths." It is open from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and tickets are $10.
  5. It's bingo night at the Knights of Columbus on Friday at 7:15 p.m. The cost is $4 to participate.
