VIDEO: Meet the Republican City Council Candidates
Patch caught up with several 2011 Republican City Council candidates to discuss their background and campaign.
With just a month until election day, the race for City Hall is now in full gear.
Patch recently caught up with several Republican candidates to discuss their background and campaign.
"I'm running for City Council because for the 13 years I've been here, I've seen changes, very few of them taking the city in the right direction," said John Hanley, who is running for City Council on the Republican ticket. "I'd like to see an improvement in industrial development, it's something I'd like to promote as a member of the City Council."

Hanley pointed to Photocircuits property as a potential site for development.
"The property's been sitting there for three years abandoned, and I think be a perfect place to start with the promotion of green tech companies," said Hanley.
