Zoning Board of Appeals Approves 2013 Meeting Dates

The Town of Oyster Bay Zoning Board of Appeals meets in the Hearing Room of Town Hall East.

The Town of Oyster Bay Zoning Board of Appeals has approved a schedule of meeting dates for 2013, according to Town Councilman Joe Pinto.

The schedule of meetings, which are held on Thursdays beginning at 7:00 p.m., is as follows:

  • January 10, 24
  • February 7, 21
  • March 7, 21
  • April 4, 18
  • May 2, 16, 30
  • June 13, 27
  • July 11, 25
  • August 8, 22
  • September 12, 26
  • October 10, 24
  • November 7, 21
  • December 12

The Zoning Board of Appeals issues variances from the Town’s zoning ordinances and conducts public hearings on such requests.

Copies of the ZBA agenda are available are posted on the Town’s website, www.oysterbaytown.com, the Monday before the meeting.

Reminders for the week:

  • Town Hall closes at 12:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
  • Normal sanitation and recycling collections are in effect Monday.
  • Mooring permits expire Monday -- moorings must be removed.
  • Peddlers licenses expire Monday.
