Glen Cove High School senior Kewan Beebe will take his game to SUNY New Paltz in the fall, the district announced this week.
Beebe was the college's overall top recruit for its mens basketball team, the district reported.
Beebe led the varsity basketball team to a first-round playoff appearance this year, as he did last year. He started playing as a junior after he moved to Glen Cove.
He ended the season with 15 points per game, co-leading the team in scoring. He averaged five assists and three rebounds per game.
The team finished 7-5 in League play; 8-9 overall.
The New Paltz Hawks are a Division III team.
