Class of 2014 Top 20 Students Announced

Congratulations to these students from Glen Cove High School for all their hard work and dedication.

The Glen Cove Board of Education, in conjunction with Glen Cove High School honored the Top 20 academically ranked members of the Class of 2014 in a ceremony held during the Jan. 13 Board planning meeting.

Glen Cove High School Principal Roseann Cirnigliaro, Assistant Principal Allen Hudson and Assistant Principal Nadine Wheeler introduced the high school’s top academic achievers, listing the many extracurricular groups and academic clubs for which these students belong, as well as some of the fine post-secondary institutions for which they have been accepted. 

Each member of the Top 20 was awarded a certificate of recognition signed by Superintendent of Schools Maria L. Rianna and Ms. Cirnigliaro.

Samantha DiPaola is the Class of 2014 Valedictorian. Hans Ring is the Salutatorian and Andrew Schuck is the Honorarian (ranked 3rd academically). The following students complete the Top 20: Daniel Wlodarczyk, Madison Dratch, Jackelyn Hayduk, Angad Sodhi, Claudia Kolanovic, Natalie Tenke, Dakota Herman, Sean Tan, Elizabeth Willson, Charles Daniele, Gillian Farnan, Kaitlin Sobelman, Michael Burrell, Alessandra Cappiello, Tianna Stephens, Maxine Lizaso and Hailey Aleman.

Congratulations to these students on all of their hard work and dedication to achieving excellence.
