The Press Club of Long Island and Hofstra University will sponsor a PCLI media literacy program, "How o Be A Smart News Consumer in the Digital Age."
The free program features news-gathering and news judgement simulation, a panel discussion on media literacy and a buffet dinner.
Professional panelists include News 12 Long Island anchor, Doug Geed, Newsday columnist Joye Brown, Hofstra Assistant Professor of Journalism, Media Studies and Public Relations, Paul Mihailidis.
