SPONSORED BY NASSAU COUNTY EXECUTIVE EDWARD MANGANO AND LEGISLATOR DELIA DERIGGI-WHITTON. If you live in and are the owner of a home or condominium, you may qualify for hundreds of dollars in property tax savings each year. To help you file or learn more about the property tax exemptions you may be eligible for, Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano, in conjunction with Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton, has arranged to bring Department of Assessment office operations to the Library. Staff will process property tax exemption applications on-site. Homeowners should bring copies of any documentation that is required for the property tax exemption. Applications and specific documentation requirements are available on the Department of Assessment website at www.mynassauproperty.com.
