  1. Get free tax help at the Glen Cove Public Library between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  2. Native American Crafts for Children starts at noon at Garvies Point Museum; regular admission plus $3 craft fee.
  3. Don't miss Glen Cove High School's second-round playoff game versus Jericho at the high school's gymnasium at 2 p.m.
  4. First Presbyterian Church of Glen Cove holds its Ash Wednesday service at 7:30 p.m., following the day's youth trip to the Bowery Mission in Manhattan.
  5. The Women's Christian Recovery Meeting is held at Trinity Lutheran Church from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
