More than 50 sixth, seventh and eighth graders at Robert M. Finley Middle School recently took to the stage to perform in "Willy Wonka Junior," a play based on Roald Dahl's book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."
The production included music, dancing, a detailed set design and dozens of performances by the young actors. The play was directed by chorus teacher Joy Sullivan.
Sullivan began the process of putting the play together last October. Regular rehearsals started in November, and the troupe worked this month to add the finishing touches on the production.
