  4. COMMENDATIONS / EDUCATION SPOTLIGHT
    This section of the agenda gives the Board of Education an opportunity to commend individuals for outstanding accomplishments and/or contributions and to spotlight the District’s programs or other educational initiatives.

    1. PERSONNEL

      a. Resignation,Termination,LeavesofAbsence: Tab2 The Superintendent of Schools recommends the Board of Education approve the following Resignations, terminations, leaves of absence, and/or position abolitions in accordance with applicable provisions of Education Law and Civil Service as cited in Schedule I and Schedule IA.

      b. Appointments,Tenure,SalaryChanges: Tab3 The Superintendent of Schools recommends the Board of Education approve the following employment appointments, tenure appointments, and salary changes in accordance with applicable provisions of Education Law and Civil Service, as cited in Schedule II and Schedule IIA.

    2. NEW BUSINESS

      a. Discussion Items

      1. Recommend the Board discuss the 2013–2014 rollover budget. 

      2. Recommend the Board discuss the proposed Pupil Promotion and Retention Guidelines K-12.

  7. Public Participation on Non-Agenda Items

  8. Adjournment
