Glen Cove School District Plans for Delays and Closings
Snow threatens Thursday's midterms, RCTs and Regents exams at Glen Cove High School.
While students are scheduled to take midterms, RCT and Regents exams on Thursday, the district has planned for possible delays and cancellations due to inclement weather.
In the event of a delay, the following schedule changes will be made to the high school exam schedule for Thursday, Jan 27, according to the Glen Cove School District website:
- 8 a.m Regents & RCT exams will be moved to 10 a.m. on the same day. Students should arrive to school no later than 9:45 a.m.
- 8 a.m. midterms will be moved to Friday, Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. Students should arrive to school no later than 9:45 a.m.
- 10 a.m. and noon Regents, RCT, and midterm exams will remain the same.
In the event of a closing, the following schedule changes will be made to the high school exam schedule for Thursday, Jan 27, according to the Glen Cove School District website:

- All Regents & RCT exams will be cancelled. Students will be scheduled to take their exams in June.
- 8 a.m. midterms will be rescheduled by the classroom teacher at a later date.
- 10 a.m & noon midterms will be rescheduled for the same time and location on Friday, Jan. 28.
