Glen Cove schools will be in session Friday, the district confirmed, though all after-school and Saturday activities are cancelled.
The distric owed its decision to the fact that snowfall isn't predicted until fairly late in the day.
The Glen Cove Public Library also plans to be open. Residents wishing to check on its status Friday can call 516-676-2130. If there is no answer, a message will be left via the inclement weather option in the library's automated message system.
