Glen Cove Boys Basketball Playoff Bound
Fourth-seeded Big Red will face off with Floral Park tomorrow night.
After winning its first conference championship in 22 years last week, the Glen Cove boys basketball team will play its first-round playoff game versus Floral Park Friday at 6 p.m. in Glen Cove's gymnasium.
Glen Cove coach Peter Falen called his team of six seniors and five underclassmen "dedicated and hardworking." Leading the team in scoring is transfer Kewan "Cash" Beebe, who has been averaging 18 points per game and is ranked third in the county in three point field goals.
The team finished the regular season with a record of 14-3 in Conference III and 10-2 in league play.

If Glen Cove wins Friday's match, it will host a second-round matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at noon against the winner of this week's Jericho-Seaford game.
