This year’s Landing School moving-up ceremony was special, as it marked the completion of the first year at the helm for Principal Dimitri Kryoneris.
The students and staff celebrated by giving Mr. Kryoneris his own “Dimi-TREE” to plant on the school lawn as a symbol of his strength and perseverance as a leader.
As has been a tradition of late, the graduating fifth-graders honored their keynote speaker, retired Glen Cove City Police Sgt. Jack McDougal, with a special gift for his contributions toward mentoring students at the school.
