Library Honors Write and Illustrate Book Winners

The Glen Cove Public Library presented awards to twenty local youths who won the 2011 Write and Illustrate Your Own Book Contest.

The Glen Cove Public Library held an award ceremony on May 19 for the winners of the library's annual Write and Illustrate Your Own Book Contest.

Twenty winners were selected from a total of 184 book submissions from students at local schools, including , , , Locust Valley Intermediate School and .The twenty winners are:
