Lots of Laughs at All Saints' 4th Annual Comedy Night

Night headlined by Ryan Reiss, a popular comedian in the city.

All Saints Regional Catholic School hosted its fourth annual Comedy Night on Friday in St. Patrick's Hall, featuring four comedians and one parishioner.

Ryan Reiss, who has peformed at such notable stand-up venues as Caroline's, New York Comedy Club and The Laugh Factory, as well as appearing on cable television, headlined the night, accompanied by comedians Gina Brillon, Lance Rizzo and Joe Machi.

"It's great to be here tonight," said Reiss. "We're all trying to break into something new, and we're gonna try to make everybody laugh tonight."

Glen Cove was the subject of a few jabs.

"It's got to be the new roadway setup we have," said Hank Hardy, a parishioner at St. Patricks who opened the show. "There's double lines over by the fast food restaurants, so now everybody's breaking the law to get a cheeseburger!"

Hardy said that the comedy night was one function of many at the school, which holds an annual fashion show, a service and goods auction and other attractions to help raise money for its programs. It also helps fund scholarships for families who need assistance with tuition.

I think the best course of action would be to contact any board member (their emails are listed) andRead More see what he or she has to say about it. That's one source that I would find reliable on this.
