1. The Glen Cove Board of Education is hosting a special/workshop meeting at at 8 p.m. Check back at 9 a.m. for the agenda.

2. Do you know of someone in the community who has done extraordinary things for friends, families, groups and others? Nominate him or her for a new feature coming soon to Patch. Tell us who you’d like to see recognized for having an impact on Glen Cove. Comment below, or e-mail elena.dimarco@patch.com.

3. Glen Cove Weather Report: Expect plenty of sunshine today with a high around 65.

4. Today at the : The Robert R. Coles History Room is open from 2-5 p.m.  (ages 4-6) will be held in the Children's Room at 4:15 p.m.  will be held in the Community Room from 6-8 p.m.
