School boards and administrators are working on next year’s budgets and by most accounts, things are looking tight. The 2 percent cap and voter frustration with increasing costs are creating close scrutiny of budgets.
The Glen Cove City School district has said it does not expect to have to make any major program cuts for next year, but the details remain to be seen.
