On Tuesday, Glen Cove voters approved by a very slim margin a nearly $77 million school budget for the 2013-14 school year.
Residents voted 799-779 in favor, and with the margin so tight, a recount is underway. Patch will announce the results of the recount as soon as they are available.
Here is a breakdown of the vote by polling place:
Finley Middle School – Yes: 375; No: 400
Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club – Yes: 126; No: 90
Landing School – Yes: 163; No: 134
Connolly School – Yes: 135; No: 155
