School are closed in Glen Cove for the second time this year as a result of extreme weather.
The Glen Cove School District announced on its website Thursday morning that all schools are closed and all exams, after-school and evening activities are cancelled due to the snow and unsafe road conditions.
While High School students scheduled to take midterms on Thursday will have at least an extra day to study, those who planned to take the Regents and RCT exams now have an extra five months, as all state exams are cancelled and students will be scheduled to take them in June.

Midterms scheduled for 8 a.m. will be rescheduled by the classroom teacher at a later date. 10 a.m & noon midterms will be rescheduled for the same time and location on Friday, Jan. 28.
