Test Scores Could be Nullified if Teacher Coaching Proven

State Education Department action a possible consequence of alleged misconduct in Glen Cove schools.

The State Department of Education could nullify students state test scores in the Glen Cove School District if evidence of teacher coaching is found, according to Newsday

According to a district probe recently leaked to the media, teachers at Connolly and Landing elementary schools coached students during state tests last year. About 80 percent of students interviewed reported inappropriate coaching on the ELA, math tests, or both, according to the report.
